Tough ending, but a great season nonetheless.

We were so out of gas in this game, its a miracle in some respects we even got it to PKs. I dont think Ive ever seen a Flyer team with tongues dragging quite like today. They were pooped, and that was with 70 minutes of regulation and 20 minutes of OT still to suffer through. When the body refuses to do what the mind asks, and when the mind even starts refusing to tell the body to put one leg in front of another, there's not a whole lot that can be done. You just gotta hope the other team takes all their chances for granted. Rodgers single-handedly kept us in this match or its curtains.

I bet we play this same game next weekend with a week of rest, we look a lot better, but you play them when you play them. Terrific season overall. We were a different team the last half of the year. All started with moving Giner up top. Everybody picked it up after that and we became multi-dimensional and less predictable.

When this program goes 19-3-1, that's a heck of a year. This may have been UD's best offensive team in 7-8 seasons.

We've got some great recruits coming in, including a HS All-American! :)

Don't tell ESPN, let the world think we won. This is a super team, sorry to see a great season ended.

You go 19-3-1 on the season, win your conference regular season, win your conference tournament, and make it to the second round of the NCAA - and you had a heck of a year.

Rodgers had a great match today - to go with a solid match Friday. Without her we lose in regulation. She did have trouble reading the tosu players on the PK's today however.

Willie was marked really well. Her defender did a whale of a job on her. She had maybe 1 or 2 solid chances, but never got a shot on goal. Of course, when your team spends most of its time defending, there wont be a lot of chances.

The Flyers hit the wall and fatigue really showed. It was not just the running up and down the field, it was battling bigger and stronger players - both Friday and today. It takes its toll.

The only Flyer left running at the end was Giner. She still had some mojo left.

tosu had depth and we did not. Coach Tucker really had nobody to plug in for tired players. Once DeWolfe ran out of gas, we pretty much conceded the mid-field.

tosu is no slouch, they did win the Big 10. What we learned last year in the NCAA, and again this year is that size and strength and speed do matter. We need more of all of the above to be able to make it to the sweet 16.

Congrats to Coach and the ladies on a great season.
