Charlotte's bats opened up in the seventh to give the 49ers a 3-0 win over Temple in game one of the 2011 Atlantic 10 Softball Championship, held at Charlotte's D.L. Phillips Softball Complex, in Charlotte, N.C. With the win, the 49ers are now 29-22, while the Owls fall to 21-22.
