Campbell and Libertin in the first half. Emery seals it late. James with a Providence PK stuff in the 86' for the clean sheet.

Providence.

Without seeing the match its hard to really make a lot of judgments, but one has to think we played with more intensity and urgency than the game vs. Boston -- a match I thought we did not show ourselves well for about 60 minutes.

Any time you can win 3-0 on the road -- against anyone -- you take it and run. Providence was picked 5th of 9 teams in the Big East and had a Top-20 recruiting class. They beat URI 3-0 on Friday. Who knows how good (or not so good) they are.

At this point we just needed a W. Getting a clean sheet was important too. Sounds like a great first half, and an even second half. But, we did what we needed to do and showed a little something in bouncing back from Friday.

Boston U lost to Boston College 1-0 on Sunday. BC was ranked #30 in the latest NSCAA poll.
