Heck of a win last night now onto bigger things as the best two teams in the A10 have their first of 2 match-ups this season! Hopefully Cooke can be given the go ahead to play.

Game is at 7 PM on Friday night and will be shown on ESPN2

Hassan Martin is having a heck of year, came back against SJU in the last game after missing 5 with a quad injury, he is avg 15.4 PPG 7.8 RPG 3.9 BPG... Also Matthews and Terrell are both averaging about 15 a night.

Somehow only down 27-25 at the half which isn't as bad as UD has played. Though I will give Rhody alot of the credit for the great defense they are playing and forcing UD into horrible half court possessions.

Halftime guys on ESPN could not have bigger hard ons for Rhode Island. Said next to nothing about UD other than they are playing without Charles Cooke.

They talked at length about all the injuries that Rhode Island has overcome and how impressive they have been getting through that tough time.

That's one thing that bothers me about Pollard, if the he succeeds not doing the smart thing, he continues to not do the smart thing until he looks like a clown. Hopefully the 2nd half we get a good dose of the good KP now that he got that out of his system.

Scoochie Smith and Charles Cooke are both extremely good at taking advantage of off-balance defenders. They're like sharks with it, too: as soon as their defender gets off-balance or leans the wrong way they get straight to the basket.

This review helps RI a lot more than usI don't know the answer, but I feel like that needs to be addressed. Teams are getting free timeouts, and it happens in some key situations where teams should be disadvantaged by their lack of timeouts.

We play so much better when we double-team and close off the passing lanes. Kyle and Pollard are especially good at that.

Funny epilogue to tonight's game. Went to Milano's afterward with some peeps, and had been there for about 15-20 minutes when who should walk in but THE OFFICIATING CREW FROM TONIGHT'S GAME! Sat at the table right across from our group, too. On my way out, I made it a point to walk by their table not just once, but twice. Didn't say a word...just walked by.

UD's senior point guard performance in the biggest game of the year was a masterpiece. If Dayton and Rhodey are the two best conference teams and both NCAA qualifiers then no one can doubt Scoochie's eligibility for First Team All Atlantic 10. I was there and I saw the whole thing.

Last time a Rhode Island player took a last second shot at UD Arena he went spinning and threw up a prayer from the corner. It went in.

He also showed up to the A-10 tournament with a visor flipped upside down and on backwards in the aisles of UD Arena. +5 man points for the shot, -75 for the wardrobe. Net loss of 70 man points.

Trust me Jarv......if hitting that shot means you look like a colossal douchebag in March, you were better off missing it.

Until Charles is back i anticipate Crosby getting more time at the 2 and going big with the 5 on the floor coming from Scooch,Kyle and John at the 2 guard spots. Kendall,Ryan,X and Sam rotate between the 3 front court spots.

Sam atleast has the 3 stroke we've all heard about. Darrell needs to step back for a bit. He has lost every drop of confidence.

Calling that pass horrible and lackadaisical is a gross insult to those terms.
