DAYTON PLACES THIRD AT SOUTHERN CUP INVITATIONAL
The University of Dayton women's track team placed third at the Southern Cup Invitational on a blustery Saturday afternoon at the George L. Rider track complex on the campus of Miami University. High winds led to higher times overall, but the Flyers still managed to score 111 team points on the strength of 33 top-ten finishes. Freshman Emily Overmyer (pictured) took first in the discus throw.
