USF will run the weave with the post players setting screens 35 feet from the hoop and shoot 35% free throws. 13 players will play 15+ minutes. First sub will be at the 19:40 mark. IU will suck because Archie no longer cares because he's taking the Louisville job.

Pretty predictable actually.

X goes to Wisconsin and wins by 10. Close until the last minute and shockingly( ;) ) Macura acts like a punk towards the end.

SLU with a nice win over VT. Bills are 3-0. A-10 went 3-1 tonight .

No! :eek: A _avier player acting like an asshat?! :eek: Unbelievable! :rolleyes:

Edit: Just saw what he did. Maybe he's auditioning for the Steelers? About the same level of class.

Virginia goes into the high school gym in Richmond and beats the Rams 76-67.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer group of fans on twitter.

With 11:45 to go Archie has his Hoosiers leading 63 to 59

Duke by 10, but IU played with them for 37 minutes. That Miller kid can coach, wow! He spread Duke all night and took their two bigs away from the basket, and made his kids play great D.

The B10 is getting pasted by the ACC.

Coach K: IU is getting better every game, Archie's guys are buying into his offensive and defensive schemes.

85-75 UNC. We will have a very tough time handling Davidson, even at home. Not sure anyone can guard Aldridge, but hopefully Williams. Wow they have a bunch of three point shooters.

Not sure there have been any walkons as good as Luke Maye. He had like 24 and 18 boards tonight, and is averaging over 20 a game on a very good team with a bunch of four and five stars.

Rumors of a St Louis rebound this year may be exaggerated, as they are being taken to the shed at Butler, 31-11.

The thugs were at it again today, Xavier smacks UC by 13, as UC coach blasts Mouthy Macura, and X coach blasts back. Well at least no fights.

Rhody up on Providence by 11 at the half. They look pretty good, and in two weeks get Matthews back. Impressed with freshman guard, Russel, who has 14 pts at the half and plays very aggressive D.

Xavier and Uc embarrasses themselves today.

Cronin cannot go after a player, UC should suspend him for multiple games.

J.P. Macura has a history of cheap shots. Got arrested for drunkenness. He tells Cronin to duck my **** and Mack defends him as a he said she said situation. Not the right language with the history of sexual assualts at Xavierand tbe ongoing discussion about sexual assualts. Guaranteed nothing happens to J.P. or Mack.

I believe SLU has 3 players getting the Dyshawn Pierre treatment. Probably has slowed the rebound.

Xavier looked very good, the Bearcats looked pretty bad most of the game IMO.

The Bearcats were not at all ready to play, they did not really seem to even put up a fight until well into the 2nd half.

Poor coaching by Cronin IMO: did not have his team ready to play, waited too long to call a timeout at the beginning of the game when X was running them out of the gym, waited too long to go to the aggressive full-court press, and IMO, he should have left Cumberland in the game when he got his 2nd foul in the first half.

This game was over in the 1st half.

UC got embarrassed in the 1st half.

Everything with UC was too little too late.

Xavier dominated most of this game.

Xavier could have won this game by 30 and scored 100 points, if they had not let up.



And Macura was out of line.

I was ok with Cronin getting p*ssed.

If somebody tells you to f.o. in the post-game handshake line, then you should be able to respond.

But, Lance Stephenson was using the f word on Mack and the X bench in the past during the game, so both sides have done things.

Rhody holds on to beat Providence as Fats Russel scores 20, after his 20 in the Seton Hall win. Fats can ball, and Rhody will be a handful. At times they played four and five guards, and will do it more when Matthews returns.

ODU up on VCU by 4 a few minutes into the 2nd half...@VCU.

VCU wins by 7. They host Shaka's Longhorn's this week.

There are only 5 teams with winning records in the A10.

And 49-51 overall. Only way the A-10 gets two bids is if URI plays well and loses the championship game. they could possibily be a second bid. everyone else appears to be chopped liver.

You cannot physically go after a player on another team when you are the head coach. Who cares what he says. You are the head coach and responsible for taking the high road.

At that moment (and because of the silly press conference comments) the game went from "X beating UC" to "another ugly incident between the schools".

I might not have this story right...Cronin was cussing at Macura during the game?...Cronin got a technical foul because of said cussing?...was Macura cussing back at him during the game?...so, at the end of the game, Cronin refuses to shake hands with Macura?...and then Macura cusses him out?...and Cronin responds.

Curtis Jones, a 4 star sophomore sg, is transferring out of Indiana...a former top 100 recruit.

Indiana sophomore guard Curtis Jones has left the team and will transfer at the end of the semester, the program announced on Sunday afternoon.

Maybe AM had a little chat with him about his future. Probably not happy with playing time.

If Jones wants to get even with Archie, he should transfer to UD.

Would you recruit a player who could not or would not play for Archie?

In a heartbeat if AG believes he could help our team.

In South Bend, Ball State upsets #9 ND 80-77... Tayler Persons 3 pointer at the buzzer

Ball St led most of that game. Had a 9 point lead at one time. ND had what seemed like a lot of trips to the foul line to help them out. Ball St kept their composure, good for them!!

Cards went 14/16 from the line. Irish 19/26. Advantage ND

If UDscott were NDscott he'd want Mike Bray fired immediately.

This is exactly why you can't get bent out of shape early in the season. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

Tonight’s upset: Loyola-Chicago takes down no. 5 Florida 65-59. Oh yeah, at Florida.

Ed Cooley said it was NOT an upset because the game was a home game for Ball State in South Bend.

This year, the Big Ten gets a week off prior to the start of the NCAAT.

Some early losers in the Big Ten tournament will get nearly 2 weeks off prior to the start of the NCAAT.

The 2018 Big Ten tourney is at MSG this year, but the Big East tournament is at MSG the week before the NCAAT starts, hence the week off for the B1G.

Boston College takes no 1 Duke down in a good game where the Eagles shot 50% and 58% for 3s. Best part seeing my least favorite player Grayson Allen lose. BC stormed the court.

Five of the top 10 have already lost this week.

ETSU beating Xavier by 13 with 8.30 left in game.

ETSU gave up a 20 point lead. X took the lead 68-66 with seconds to go. Davidson lost to no 16 UVA and GW fell to no 6 Miami.

UMass defeated Georgia by 10. Georgia has beaten St Mary’s in OT last month in th Wooden Legacy.

IU came back and beat ND in overtime.

Only five A10 teams have a winning record, and two of those are 6-5.

Indiana shouldn't play state schools. The Mastadons are up 67-53 with 11 minutes to play

Crean would have been fine. It's that new guy that can't coach a lick.

FW up 18 with 3.10 to go. At Indiana.

The announcer called it a coaching clinic. Final 92-72 Indiana 4-24 from 3.

IPFW shoots 51.7% from the field and 56.7% from the three point line on 17 of 30!

IPFWs second straight win over Indiana!

With Archie's s near loss at Dayton and consecutive upsets over Indiana, safe to say IPFW is not cashing any more buy game checks from Indiana soon.

Archie’s first two UD teams either could not grasp or buy into his defensive philosophies. Seems like he is having deju va at IU.

Ironically, Anthony is having the exact same issue with regards to defense.

Archie, and the IU program, would get a shot in the arm if 5 star 6'6" 195lb SG Romeo Langford from New Albany, Indiana chose them over Kansas and Vanderbilt as I believe that is his final three schools.

Archie probably hopes that Romeo wasn't in attendance last evening or even tuned in on TV for that matter!

Change is always met with apathy and resistence. If he can get through this season without losing their complete attention, he has help on the way. His top 6 are 2 Seniors, 1 Junior, 2 Sophs, and 1 Freshman. His incoming class is good. But he will take a beating from Alums and fans.

Wofford wins at Chapel Hill. Their first ever win over a top 25 team.

It doesn't mean anything except an A10 team suffered another unimpressive loss.
