Time to shake off the loss on Saturday and get back at it Wednesday Night in the Bronx. Hopefully the real DMO shows up at Fordham.

All of you jumping off the bandwagon after 1 game in the A13... chill... There is still 15 freaking games left lol... I Still Believe and you should too!

This is a 'must-win' game...return with an 'L' and - injuries, excuses and ifs aside - Archie will be on the hot seat.

Four guards. The glass is more than half full: this will be a tough match up for Fordham. Oliver and Pierre need to dominate their smaller guys. We need to stop the penetration and give Fordham their fifth straight loss.

Severe is one of the better freshman in the nation at 21 ppg. Frazier is close behind in scoring. We should see some floor time for Kyle Davis and Pollard.

Archie will be on the hot seat? Really? I will be shocked if Archie isn't back next year.

I never said he wouldn't be back...only that he'd be on the hot seat...meaning more and more of us will be watching him game-by-game not season-by-season.

We've taken a couple steps forward this season with road wins at Ole Miss and GTech as well as the Maui Tournament...and we've taken quite a few steps backward, too. A loss at Fordham would be a major leap backwards and would raise questions that demand explanations...thus, the hot seat.

Fordham has some volume shooters, but they don't play a lick of defense. I will be curious to see how Dayton defends. I expect them to come out with something to prove after the STL debacle. Take the points and bet the over.

SJU is a great example of why you need a star player if you want to be at the top of the conference. Two best players in the A10, IMO, are Williams (UMass) and Evans (SLU) and it is not a coincidence that they may be the best two teams. Flyers have not have a POY type player in a long time.

Comparing Fordham to Dayton (and how they rank against the rest of Division I) . . .

Fordham and Dayton are both weak in field goal percent defense:

I dont think Ive ever seen the Flyers play well at Fordham. Every single game is a Freddy Kreuger movie. The only good news is we seem to eek many of them out after things look hairy with about 10min left.

Amazingly, we have won 7 straight against Fordham, with our last loss being on 04-Jan-2006. Last year we won by 45 at home, the year before we won by 2 on the road. Since 1949-50, we are 23-5 overall against Fordham, with 4 losses on the road, and 1 at home.

It is not just there. Didn't Lowery drive the full length of the court with something like 10 seconds left to beat them at home a few years back? If we didn't win that game, I am not sure we would have made the NCAAs and knocked off WVU.

UMass/GMU game is dragging along and is very close. The online stream may not catch the beginning of our game, Just be our luck it will go OT. When you have the 11:00 am game you don't have that problem.

Wow, according to gametracker... Jon Severe isn't starting... If he doesn't play that is huge!

UMass just had what looked like a terrible call go against them. Guy driving and a blocking call, but the defender was squarely between the guy and the basket the whole time.

OK, I only caught the end of whatever channel 7 scrolled across bottom of the screen here in good old Dayton. What is the problem /excuse with no game on?

Georgetown was up 17 in the second half and lost by 13. What a meltdown. Thought that they wanted to hold on just to win and gave it up.

is on display again with WHIO-TV unable to figure out how to bring the telecast to Dayton as promised. Incompetence on the court as well as UD is down 7-2 at the outset.

WHIO is pathetic. The Flyers are pathetic. Grr....

I think ch.7 is waiting on the feed from SNY and they are still showing the UMass game.

Who is announcing the game?

WHIO is streaming it from the internet. Sad.

Channel 7 feed is terrible. I would think that another station in town could do a lot better job than WHIO. This happens way to often.

WHIO radio seem to never fail. WHIO TV seem to never work. Aren't they the same company? What gives?

is definitely becoming a second class presentation. This is the poorest quality TV effort in the history of the program. UD should be ashamed and must find another outlet besides WHIO to present the product.

Some good defense after some inexplicable cranial flatulence. Aside from the temporal schizophrenia, the internet feed is the best I've ever seen.

Don't be so hard on HIO, guys. The "technical difficulties" at the start was because the UMass game on SNY ran long. HIO was relying on SNY for the feed and they were showing the other tilt. The going back to the start of the game part on the web stream was CollegeInsiders not HIO

It sounds like a lot of people in this thread need to update to DirecTV. I am watching the game on SNY in crystal clear HD. Looks great.

If you were in Dayton to see the absolutely terrible quality picture they are giving us, you would not be so quick to defend.

Plus this is 2014. They should have been prepared for the UMass game to run over and have a back up plan on how to pick up the game feed. This is 2014, it cant be that expensive or difficult.

what is the name of the sideline reporter?

If there was one game where Gavs and Kavs were to miss it should be vs. a team that starts 4 guards

I love how this game is going now. They are taking very tough shots and making them, but we are taking easy shots. If the defense keep it up, we will start separating from these guys any minute

We are getting pounded on the boards. We are boxing out but not exploding to the ball.

KP with a nice offensive/defensive finish to the half. Unfortunately he couldn't get a second block in 1.2 seconds.

The UMass game had nothing to with it. The technical difficulties were going on well past the end of that game. After WHIO couldn't work them out, they put on the web stream instead.

I bet that will be the first thing out of Archie's mouth in the locker room.

I caught the beginning live with the online stream. If I could get it I'm not sure why they couldn't. I did have the weird jump back to tip off problem, but otherwise the streaming look better than most games I've watched on WHIO when they are at the arena. And I'm streaming from a computer to the tv.

They only have one big guy and he is eating our lunch. Scott and Robinson need to grow a set, box out and rebound and play D.

Down 3 on rebounds 15 to 18 felt like down 10 or more

The mouse cursor on my 42 inch plasma was an added nice touch.

Pollard gave us big first half minutes. By my math, he's now 5-26 at the FT line though. I doubt the NCAA keeps such stats, but my guess is thats the worst FT% in the nation minimum 25 attempts.

Their plan wasn't to stream it straight from the web, but that's what they have resorted to.
