Robert Morris

Robert Morris has already played two games. One was against FBS Buffalo and were beaten pretty soundly.

Game two was against DII Kentucky State at home. They turned the ball over in costly points in the game. They lost 13 to 7. Their QB threw for 70 yards and their leading ball carrier didn't have a lot of yards. Don't know how good or bad they are at this point.

We can't let this big win cost us by having a big head going into this game. It is their homecoming game and is at 3:00 which is an unusual time.

I hope we get out early and often and shut down their offense with some good adjustments defensively. I hope we gain some confidence on that side of the ball.

I think our offense can score. Cook is solid and doesn't make a lot of mistakes for being only a sophomore.

I am hoping we can get a big lead and keep the pedal to the metal.

Can't wait to make the drive to RMU and hope it is a good ride back.

Go Flyers!

See the Flyers are -19.5. That's a bunch of points and RMU games are usually closer than that. Will be interesting to see if the promising performance at ISU carries through today.

Lutyens, Warfield and it appears Chisolm are not dressed. That is three big losses.

Go Get Em Flyers!

Great interception and return with RM driving for a go ahead TD late. We should have this so long as we don’t do anything stupid.

Exciting game. Kudos to freshman kicker Webster, and Simon for his (second in a row) interception to end a go ahead drive.

Was worried the Prophit fumble with a little over 5 minutes left would be a disaster. However, defense picked him up and turned RMU over. Chalk up a "W".

Special kudos to Webster and the kicking game. His 3-3 on field goals was the difference in the game. That 53 yarder looked like it would have been good from 60.

A win is a win, competitive game. RMU won evey stat but the most important one. Little disapointed in the D. Defense is going to have to tighten up if we are going to win the Pioneer. Still a little hard to judge the overall team, excellent game at USU and quite frankly we struggled against a winless team, but we still won. Dukes should be an interesting matchup

Robert Morris was always a crazy game. There were always things happening that should not have happened on both sides. I don't remember a Dayton v. RMU game that didn't have multiple "what the h*ll just happened?" plays.

I thought the D tightened when we needed it. Those three penalties by RMU's 97 cost them big time. That sack and the interception were huge.

The officiating was horrible all game long. Inconsistent calls, that time when they were given the ball at the 35 and the official couldn't figure out and just stood at the 30. Then the timeout and they moved the ball up 4 yards, then had to correct it. Just disgusted with it.

It's over, it is a win. I think RMU started a different QB than the first two games. He was pretty decent and their tight end was a beast.

It was a good win. Let's go beat the Dukes!

Go Flyers
