Contain Jordan Price... That's it... Averages 23 PPG... Roberts averages 13+ as well.

Go out and go 3-0 before the tough two game homestand next week... GO UD!

Big Road Challenge for Flyers
 

Although LaSalle's record of 3-8 overall and 0-2 in A-10 play do not strike fear into the hearts of Dayton Flyer fans their gym and lineup present some problems. It will be back to High School for the new players with none of the amenities of UD Arena. The four guard lineup will challenge UD's defense and raise the increased possibility of foul trouble. UD's depth should help especially if they can rebound and quicken the pace against an understaffed LaSalle.
Go Flyers! We do not want to hear the chant "Over rated" at the end of the game.

Any word on Pollard's status?

We shouldn't need him against a woeful LaSalle. Played great without him v UMass. May be best to let him heal completely. After all, this season he may be the only player who seems to have regressed and is worse in virtually every stat compared to last year. Leads team in to's (again), lower in FG%, FT% , scoring avg and avg rebounds. And this is largely without DP taking up some number of opportunities. Could be he's not been 100%

Kendall Pollard won't play today for Flyers, I've been told, because of Achilles strain. I would have been surprised if he did.

Not surprising... Rest up... Hopefully he is ready to go on Tuesday

Don't need him to win today but we need to figure out how he will play with Pierre and Steve at the same time.

It amazes me how people think an A-10 road game will be a cake walk, what in our history even begins to suggest this? Its gonna be a struggle, dig the heels in. LaSalle will be amped

No sound yet on a10 feed. And yes I know I can listen to Larry and Bucky but it rarely syncs up which drives me nuts.

If the A10 people are true to form, in a few minutes someone will note that the audio switch is off.

No sound on A10 and so far WHIO has had 6 minutes of continuous commercials

Showing replays during game action on the TW website.

After every made basket they show a replay--so you miss whatever action takes place immediately afterwards

I think thier production team was told last game that they didn't show enough replays, so now they are making up for it!

These morons are going to show replays the whole game while play is going on. Very irritating.

It's painful watching the difference in play after Big Steve is replaced by Sam... Steve seems to have much better positioning and court sense on both sides of the floor. Sam seems lost. Hopefully he can get into game speed

Flyers loving the 3-ball today...I say work it inside. Also, too many times we are penetrating along the baseline and getting caught up making bad passes. Kyle has a habit of doing this, but now it seems they are all doing it.

Here we go again with idiotic TV program direction. Running replays while live action continues.

On the last Flyers possession, I was waiting for the replay of the off the glass by LaSalle and it thankfully never came. But it is keeping me off balance.

We better stop the dribble penetration or this game could go the wrong way fast.

I think they said they were trying out a new video feed that is connected to the same feed they put on the scoreboard... hence all the replays for the people who are actually there.

It would also explain why they don't have the shot clock on that feed as well.

Hard to imagine it is an adult directing the camera work.

Reminds me of Alabama A&M last year, when they would literally just run the weave every possession for 25 seconds. Excruciating.

Our defense has been horrible as the clock is running down.

Flyers need to full court press in the 2nd half and make them move and tire them out.

John Crosby had one mistake with that 2 on 1 break, but other than that, he is playing very well. He is demonstrating some very good court vision.

I would considering pressing and then falling back into 3-2 zone. Speeds up the game and forces them to pass down low -- they are killing Dayton on dribble drives.

I think we have the market on ugly games.

For a game that was shortened by LaSalle, the Flyers have a lot of fouls. The really do need to full court press this team in the 2nd half.

They can't stop dribble drive defense which they practice all the time. What makes you think they are going to be able to play a zone correctly when they practice it very little

Big Steve needs to stop fouling. If he is in the game,half their shots would be swatted into the front row seats.

Crosby is doing a better job than Scoochie creating shots for his teammates today
