Guess I am surprised there are a number of you that have multiple entries. My view is pick one and go with it. We could all add 10. If you are truly the champion, you go with one!!!!!!

When I want your opinion I'll beat it out of you.

Until then, we're all playing by the rules. Feel free to submit 10...it doesn't help your odds. Each pool, individually considered, has an equal chance of winning or losing. Which in CE80s case, is 0.00%.

It all depends on what your definition of 'winning' is...for CE80, it's all about not finishing last. For the rest of us, it's about kicking his *ss!

This Challenge is no place for the thin-skinned, squeamish or her/they pronouners. Which is probably why CE80 hasn’t submitted his picks yet.

See when you play one bracket, you think about it a little bit. Something you are not very familiar with. Play all the bracelets you want. Just tell me which is the one you are competing against my one. Recall, I beat 2 out of your 3 last time.

Quandary upon Quandary; do you pick the favorite or do you pick upsets in order to win the bracket championship, is the question?

Not if you are Rollo. One bracket for favorite. One with lots of upsets. One with animals winning. Another with primary colors. Play enough brackets and you are bound to beat someone.

So Rollo, I would assume you are not a math guy. It is true that each individual entry has roughly equal chances to win. However, if you have 10 entries, your chances of winning is 10 times what one entry would be if all selections were made randomly which is likely what yours might as well be.

I'm not trying to beat someone. I'm trying to beat CE80!

So, you're saying that if each Royal pool has a 1% chance of winning, that I could enter 100 pools to guarantee a victory?

C'mon math guy. Is that what you're saying? :whiteflag: Because math doesn't work that way. Unless we're just pulling a name out of a hat...in which case the more times you enter, the higher the chances you're picked.

You are not seriously questioning John C on this - are you?

If one had 1 bracket in a pool with 100 entries, one would have a 1% chance of winning. If that one added 99 brackets to the 1 already in the pool, there would now be 199 entries and therefore the one with 100 entries would have a 100/199 chance of winning or slightly above 50% for the not so understanding of math/probability.

So if you are so “royally “ superior at this, why do you need to enter more than 1 bracket?

Good lord CE80, it’s not a raffle!! When I get every game right, it won’t matter how many brackets John C has entered.

Each entry has an equal chance of winning or losing. Just fill out 3 entries like 7 or 8 others have done. Or 15 like 1 particular person. It’s not against the rules, so as the saying (should) goes: when in Rome, do as Rollo!

If - like some - you believe that all brackets are created equal and that a bracket with all four 16-seeds in the Final 4 has an equal chance of winning as a bracket with all four 1-seeds in the Final 4, don't read this.

1st Round...what did we learn?

- The A-10 still sucks, even in a year when the league was supposedly "deep"
- "Tournamentus Victoriamous!" Sister Jean & Team Gryffindor are still forces to be reckoned with
- This is the year of the double digit seed
- Rollo has butt acne
