Jeske Injured

San Diego Flyer 08-04-2017 09:03 AM

crap :(

Cardsflyer 08-04-2017 01:11 PM

Hope he is healing well and getting better soon!

Go Flyers!

PittsburghFlyer 08-04-2017 04:36 PM

That is a big blow to the Flyers. They really need him to be healthy to have a shot at winning the PFL. The good thing is that, if my math is correct, he should be back a week or two prior to the start of the PFL schedule. Best of luck to Alex gaining full recovery soon!

NEOFlyer 08-08-2017 03:06 PM

I also hate to hear that news (or anyone getting hurt for that matter). Hoping for a quick recovery.

Hey, it's only a little toe! Maybe Ronnie Lott can offer some advice? :D

GO FLYERS!!

PIONEER 8 08-08-2017 04:44 PM

Too bad. You hate to see any player go down. Especially a veteran getting near the end of their UD career.

Cardsflyer 09-14-2017 01:58 PM

How is Alex progressing? I hope he is coming along well!

Go Flyers

FlyerIllini 09-15-2017 10:25 AM

Cards: The young RS-Jr. QB is recovering well and on schedule. He is hoping to be cleared to start practicing soon. Unclear if he will be available for Morehead State, but he is definitely looking forward to contributing to the effort against the Toreros. Whenever he returns, there will obviously be a little rust to shake off.

Thanks to all who have extended positive thoughts and well-wishes. The Flyer family continues to amaze.

Note: One silver lining to this otherwise dark cloud is that it dramatically increases the likelihood that the RS-Jr. QB returns for a 5th year.

NEOFlyer 09-15-2017 10:52 AM

A 5th year? That means another year of shot-ski's! Awesome.

Cardsflyer 09-18-2017 11:18 AM

Thanks for the update FlyerIllini. I am glad to hear he is coming along well. We certainly miss him on the field, but his health is the most important thing and hope he is feeling better and stronger each day!

Go Flyers!

Unless the secondary tightens up a bunch, it won't matter much who is at QB. We have been able to score in the last three games, Defense has been less than stellar.

Piqua Flyer '66 09-28-2017 12:58 PM

Here's the plan.....
Beat USD Sat
Go undefeated in PFL
hold tiebreaker if needed with
USD...ON TO FCS PLAYOFFS!

Cardsflyer 09-29-2017 02:16 PM

At this point is there any thought to a medical red-shirt for Alex?

Go Flyers!
