Looks like Izzo is a piece of garbage. And maybe UD did ok missing out on Payne.

Their won’t be any repercussion for Izzo.

Payne details are horrific. If he comes to Dayton as a freshman 2010-11 season, the odd man out is probably the guy who represented the University of Dayton with more class than anyone I can remember: Devin Oliver.

AD and Pres will take the brunt.

Just saw Izzo speak after Sports center story update. MSU, solo university involved or just tip of iceberg?

Last evening Payne was waived by the Magic's G-League affiliate and Travis Walton of the Clippers' G-League staff has been suspended.

Going to be hard for either to keep their job. The public is going to go nuts after the gymnastics disaster. This isnt going to go away.

Izzo and Dantonio are two big fish that should be able to ride this out. Nonetheless, the Nassar matter is a calamity for MSU....arguably worse than PSU's Sandusky debacle...which to date has cost PSU ~ $250 million and a huge hit on its reputation. That was bad...in some respects MSU seems even worse.

For sure, it's an institutions worst nightmare. John is right, this ain't going away...at least not any time in the foreseeable future. Wow!...what a hit.

150 plus victims testified. People are estimating up to 1,000 victims. Some as young as 7. And Izzo's comment was that he hoped they convicted the right guy. He also continued to stand by the president.

This is a large multiple of what happened at Penn State. What's less clear is how culpable the administration is at this point. But many knew and they all played ostrich. Kathie Klages needs to be in jail and thats probably just a start.

The blow back against Izzo and Dantanio is going to get insane.

Time to get rid of the private 1st class jet and play some basketball!

No matter how big Izzo is, no matter how big any B-Ball program is, Sans Coach K, football drives the bus in Power 5 Conferences. They should both fry, but i guarantee if Dantonio gets canned, Izzo does too.

MSU Student Says Three Basketball Players Raped Her In New Lawsuit

A lawsuit filed by a current Michigan State University student says that, in 2015, three MSU basketball players gang-raped her in an off-campus apartment. The student also says that employees at the university’s counseling center discouraged her from reporting the rape, either to police or the school’s Office of Institutional Equity.

Hard to not believe those allegations considering this isn't a case of 1-1 "he said she said". Allegations typically aren't fabricated when they involve multiple suspects...

I hope they fry if what is reported is true.

With that said...tell your daughters to stay the F out of bars drinking when they are 18...nothing good comes from any of that. No excuse for any of the actions by the suspects...but bars are environments for predators.

Agreed. And as I told my daughters as they were growing up-nothing good ever happens after midnight.

It's not just 18 and it's not just girls. I've heard enough stories of young men (21-25) particularly around the casino in Cleveland. Naive young people that grew up in the suburbs. Just not aware of their surroundings and the evil that is contained in some others.
