Didn't Hurley use the Rutgers job a couple of years ago to improve his deal and his assistant's deal at
URI? Neither Pitt or UConn jobs are currently at the level they once were and the URI gig is not a terrible one. Maybe he stays at URI a bit longer until an even better job opens up.
