Off-season workouts are underway for the Michigan men's basketball team, and Ibi Watson is already turning heads when it comes to metrics.
The 6-foot-5 sophomore wing apparently set a new team record in the vertical leap on Friday, jumping 44 1/2 inches to touch 12 feet, 1/2 inches, strength and conditioning coach Jon Sanderson tweeted out.
To help put this in perspective, the vertical jump record at the NBA Draft combine is 46 inches, set by Memphis' D.J. Stephens in 2013.
