We have had a bunch of solid players transfer in and contribute substantially (Josh, Siebert, Dillard....). Have we ever lost anybody of consequence or had anyone do well at a real program other than Staten ??

Not sure Wright State is a real program, but Cain Doliboa had success there. Decades ago, a kid named Mike Blevins transferred from Dayton to Jacksonville and started on their Final Four team with Artis Gilmore and Penbrook Burrows (spelling?), their two 7-footers. And Meachem at Illinois.
