You could make an argument that his recruiting tailed-off after the Scoochie class. We got Baby D, Big Steve, and Cooke the following year, but then it was 2K19 (with Mikesell as the lone holdover), Landers & Kostas, and the Class of ‘21 where Jordan Davis is the only recruit left of the 5 who signed with Archie.

I'm not too happy with what happened with Archie leaving and I support coach Grant but Archie did have Wright and Carter coming in this class along with Jordan Davis. Not exactly chumps.
