He averaged 17 ppg, which was more than Darrell Davis did last year. Virginia Tech, Maryland, UConn,
Temple, Nevada, Arizona, Georgetown, Clemson, and others have shown interest in him. He had offers from St.
Bona,
LaSalle, Vermont, and several other schools out of high school.
Maybe you’re unfamiliar with how college basketball works. Guys sometimes go to lower level schools, get a lot better, and then transfer up. Sometimes freshmen who aren’t very good actually improve and are better players by the time they graduate!
If you don’t think a 6’5” wing with ACC and Big Ten interest who averaged 17 ppg would be a good get, I wonder who would be a good get.
