Thank you for mentioning this. I’ve seen some on this board criticizing J. Davis for how his offense has gone south recently. I think it might be because Coach wants Crutcher to focus on running the offense without making turnovers, so he’s having JD guard the opponent’s top backcourt threat. And, in that regard, JD is doing a decent job for a freshman (who was recruited for his offensive skills).
I think we have a good, young nucleus in the backcourt. Now, we just need more players like JD & Crutch.
