From the Gopher site: "I felt like Wright was going to announce for Dayton which would be an unprecedented recruiting loss for the Gophers in the time I've followed recruiting closely (almost 20 years). The only kids I can remember that a coaching staff at the U prioritized that went to non Blue Bloods were Reid Travis, Rashad Vaughn, and Lawrence McKenzie...and none of them chose a school like Dayton. Obviously, the Travis/Vaughn recruitments were right when Pitino got the job."
