Yeah, it seems like ESPN is trying to compete with the likes of Ken Pomeroy and other analytics systems out there. Like any set of pre-season data or polls, they really mean nothing. Having said that, for reference, KenPom has UD at #103 and 6th in the A-10. That at least feels closer to my gut than ESPN's system, but none of them are worth anything until they start getting fed with real data.
