Poor weather is a great equalizer and usually benefits the team with less technical ability. We have seen this many times in years past when UD was top dog in the A10 and played on a wet, muddy field at an A10 opponent and tied or lost to a team we were superior to. Its just part of the game.
Taking advantage is another matter however and getting a tie is about as good as anyone can realistically expect, especially playing down a player for almost an hour and no Robertson available. You dont hold on to a scoreless draw under those circumstances unless you put forth a good effort. Golz strategy made perfect sense. Its imperative we finish the non-con in good order and beat
Xavier.
