Boy, that is true. AG had a better coaching record than Avery Johnson at Alabama. 'Bama is just a hard place to coach with a lot of success. Mark Gottfried had a couple of very successful seasons there (8 loss seasons) but he then immediately regressed back to 17-18 win seasons. Gottfried probably starting his impermissible actions at 'Bama. "He's always been a great recruiter".
Alabama just had 2k fans show up for the NIT loss. Their arena holds 15k. I think AG is pretty happy with how everything turned out
