With no snark at all, I hope they thoroughly check his heart once he's on campus. Can't that be a SOP for anyone over 6'8" from now on? The cost must be trivial and we can tout it to recruits.

From one who's learned a lot about heart issues recently...there's a limit to what an EKG, ultrasound, sonogram, nuclear stress test, etc., can tell you from a preventative perspective. And height has nothing to do with it. It some cases, skeletal structure...yes. I'm sure the medical staff has done, and will continue to do, thorough physicals. The investment is too much.
