No school has paid a greater price for cheating than has SMU. Obviously, the death penalty in football, but the basketball program was also hit very hard by the NCAA recently.

Larry Brown hasn't exactly gotten away with cheating. If you want a poster boy for getting away with cheating - there are much better choices. Why hasn't the NCAA penalized Roy Williams or Rick Pitino yet? Suspending Jim Boeheim and years before that Jim Calhoun for a few games for major violations? Please. Kelvin Sampson just went to the NBA to wait out his show cause. Frank Haith ran from Miami to Missouri to Tulsa - jetting each time when the NCAA investigates. And of course, there's John Calipari. What has the NCAA done to him -- retroactively vacated some of his wins at
UMASS and Memphis? How is that even a penalty?

I’ll take my Flyers the way they are, and pi$$ on SMU types…..

Why not just take your Flyers the way they are, be classy, and appreciate that they are winning and winning the right way? Why pi$$ on SMU? Is SMU winning NCAA championships? Is SMU knocking Dayton out of the NCAA tourney? No, they're not doing either of those things. The truth is that SMU is playing out postseason bans and riding out sanctions again. Are you as a Dayton fan really jealous of that? Meanwhile, you have Syracuse knocking Dayton out of the tourney and going on to face North Carolina in the final four. Oh, and those four and five star recruits that SMU is getting? They aren't taking them away from Dayton. They are actually taking them away from the Syracuses and North Carolinas of this world.
Full disclosure I am an SMU alum, but if anyone deserves to be pi$$ed on, it's the NCAA who lets certain programs get away with murder, while putting the hammer down on SMU again and again.
