If it's the veteran transfer route there's surely a smaller conference guy who might want to get a start on grad degree, a coaching career or just play for a winner and go the tourney his last year (s)
Think a Ryan Bass type who's fine being a depth guy. Guy won't be all conference player but could be a solid depth guy

I think that is the answer…get a solid, consistent PG from a lower conference who is a grad transfer. Someone who wants to play a role for a team that should go to the dance. A team that plays in front of 13K every home game. A guy who wants to play in the Bahamas in November. There is a lot to offer the right guy.
