IIRC, he hinted or suggested in a post that if said player was a grad transfer, they had more experience and might be more "transfer ready" than a player who only had one or two years of development at a bottom feeder/crap program. Because yeah, another year or two of development in what's described or referenced as a crap program, playing two more years against low tier in conference opponents will certainly tip the scales.
