I try and watch Sportscenter in the morning for baseball highlights but today may have been my last day even trying. They started off with Yankees/Astros highlights (more hype than highlights) and then jumped to 15 minutes of Cavs/GS interviews and analysis followed by Tiger Woods hype at the Memorial.
At 6:18 I turned it off. I don't care about what might happen (NBA, Memorial) unless nothing else happened the night before. Maybe that's just me but I'd like to think that there are mortals out there who want to see 5-6 baseball game highlights before they break away to talk about LeBron and Tiger...especially when it's fairly obvious that GS will win in 5 and Tiger will be lucky to make the cut.
ESPN is all about HYPE. And with Keith Olberman now walking their hallways, free to interject as he sees necessary, I really am sick of them.
King Rollo the Cable Cutter...OUT!
