Both players had 135 assists but Chatman had 89 turnovers for a 1.5 to 1 ratio while Crutcher had only 64 turnovers for a 2 to 1 ratio which we all agree was a feather in his cap for a freshman PG!
Rodney Chatman is a SO so he would sit one year and play two. The one positive that I haven't mentioned however is that he must drive to the basket a lot more and is more adept at drawing fouls than Jalen because he was 93 for 119 from the free throw line for 78.2% while Jalen was only 32 for 47 for 68%.
Since it seems there are a lot of PG's that are off the board in the 2018 class Chatman may be a good transfer to back up Jalen Crutcher his junior and senior seasons or maybe even start ahead of him although that might be a stretch! I hope we can get Kira Lewis or Tre Mann for 2019 but for next season Dwayne Cohill may need to play PG some to relieve Jalen.

Kira Lewis and Tre Mann aren't coming to Dayton. Can we stop mentioning them?
