Maybe but the UMass buyout in the memorandum of understanding was just 1 million and his Winthrop buyout is only 250k. In terms of buyouts in college athletics 1.25 million isn't that bad and if the Xavier/Indiana scenario plays out the overlords down south would have no problem covering that. I'm sure they would get some buyout money from IU from Mack too.
