If Colgate makes FTs this is probably a loss -- maybe the worst loss in 5 seasons. Lack of urgency all over the court. Need our PGs to dribble drive more. Chandler and Scaife saved our bacon late. Refs called about 20 phantom fouls on both teams. So many stoppages in play there was no transition ball. Yes we shot terrible from three and Cannatelli couldnt buy a basket which is not her normal.
Down 4 to start the 4th, we outscored them by 16 to go up 12. So we turned it on when we had to. But Colgate may not win 8 games this year. I remember two years ago we played Yale to open the season and needed a late run with 3 minutes to go to win that game. And that season turned out okay. But this Colgate team lost to Yale by 18 a cpl days ago.
#10 Maryland is next. Its like going from miniature ponies to churchill downs thoroughbreds. Just want to see us compete. No one is really expecting us to win so we have house money to play with.
Now if the UD MSOC team and VB team can get wins today, it will be a nice Friday sweep.
