Rule of thumb: You win on the road by having your defense keep you close in the game. Defense failed the team. Isn’t defense all about coaching, motivating and desire?

You also win on the road with veteran leadership. Baby D was not a true leader. Yes, he had a very good overall year but you have to have your veteran(s) and leading scorer hit some big shots and make some big plays on the road.
Same with Cunningham although the difference lies in that he needs to have the ball delivered to him offensively and I saw plenty of times late in road games he was open briefly but no delivery of the ball. Defensively, he was the only BIG UD had for 90% of the year and they could not afford to lose him.
