Payne is a great example of how insanely talented you have to be to make it in the NBA. He was nothing short of a stud at Michigan State, scoring >1200 pts and shooting 43% from 3-point land as a senior. Then he gets drafted #15 by Atlanta and the struggles begin.
Whenever someone here wants to say that XXX or YYY has an NBA body and all that other royal cr*p, I laugh because as Payne and Tyler Hansbrough NBA careers have shown, you have to be an athletic freea x 10 to make it in the NBA.
