Two Dayton area products were notably shown on these specials: John Paxson and Ron Harper. Neither played at the University of Dayton.
I will never forget/forgive the lady from Admissions who recommended to
Donoher that Ron Harper would not be academically suited at the University of Dayton due to the complications of his speech impediment (stuttering). It was a shame that we couldn’t have taken both Young and Harper in that recruiting class.
