I agree that's a crap shoot especially with high school players. I think Archie did a good job recruiting it just so happened the junior class missed. If he stuck around maybe some of those wholes get plugged with grad transfers.
That shows what the value of transfers are in that there's an idea about what they can do can do against college competition. Think of the difference this year with a Cooke/Sanford/Seibert caliber guard added to the mix
I don't think any coach at Dayton is gonna bat 100% on high school recruits but transfers can really take the pressure off having to hit on every high school guy
