I thought the foundation for this year needed to be DD, JC and X when healthy. We need 3 guys to get it done this year supported by a young rotation on any given night.
But I have zero problem with TL stepping up and filling that third spot. I especially think it can be a huge message to any player who isn’t buying into the AG era and contributing very little except attitude. Unfortunately that might be more than one players problem.
Trey stepping up last night not only helps this team win, it also helps this team move beyond any players living in the past or thinking they are bigger than the team or program. That might be the biggest contribution TL delivered last night by playing great.
