I was at that game, too. As much as I can’t stand Mack, he was the 2nd of the Evansville players to do it, and I think he only did it once. The first guy to follow Crews’ order was a guy named Scott Shreffler. As I recall, after Shreffler did the first one, the crowd was stunned at first, and then angry. Then, when Mack did the second one, people were just irate. Afterward, Mack said that his regret over the incident was one of the factors that led him to transfer to
_avier, but in seeing how his players at said alma mater handed themselves on and off the court, I had to wonder if Crews didn’t think he had the right weasel for the job.
