Sam can, and IMO likely will, rehab himself, video or no video. And that is a good thing. Some smaller school will accept him after he's taken a year off and gotten his life together.

Those of you preaching forgiveness seem to misunderstand the word in the Christian sense. When the church Treasurer steals money from the offering plate and repents you forgive. What you are not called to do is to ignore what happened. You don't leave that person in charge of the money. So I trust the university will do nothing vindictive or mean spirited, as a matter of fact I expect they'll bend over backward to help him get his credits transferred elsewhere when he's ready. Just not at UD.

I would personally love to have Sam back on the team for his basketball skill, and was always a big Sam supporter. It's a shame, it's not happening. So this has nothing to do with the quality of his actual or perceived skill on the court. This is about doing the right thing.
