There are different schools of thought in those situations. I thought the most prevalent thinking today is to grab the ball and sprint down straight to the basket - think Rob Lowery vs
Fordham a few years back (good outcome) or Aaron Craft vs UD in NCAA tourney (a most excellent outcome). Did they players do what they were coached to do or was it ad lib? They should be prepared to do what they are coached to do.
