+/- is best statistic ever. Yes, I know you can not win if you do not score, but you can not win if you do not play defense, help defense, hustle, and play the game like your coach wants you to play as part of a 5 on 5 team, helping to execute the offense as intended, setting picks, boxing out, etc....all the little things that leads to your team scoring more than the other team when your on the floor, even though you do not get your name in the headlines every game with a stellar stat line.

So hypothetically we have some super stud next year scoring 33 points a game and throwing down double digit average dunks. Yes the crowd gets excited, pumps up our team, blah blah blah......But he has a -10 when on the court. That means despite his 33 points a game, the opposition scores 43 when he is on the floor. We lose!
