Some conferences, like the Horizon, have moved away from the bye format and everyone plays first round. I wish the A10 would, too.

I'll take the double bye every time it's there. SLU played Richmond in their first game, which was Richmond's second game, coming off a win. I'm not buying any of this "get going" theory. Maybe it takes a few minutes into the game to "get going", but no advantage to having played a full game the day before.
