I wasn't able to be home to watch most of the game, so I was tracking periodically through ESPN website. It would be an understatement to say I was very frustrated, on top of my very poor round of golf today. I may have posted some really negative things in the game thread too, which is one of the reasons I shy away from posting until after the game. When I finally got home, I went ahead and turned the game on, and whereas the last time I looked we were down 11, now the game was tied. Wow, what a turnaround. Then Crutcher hits a 3 and though it was back and forth the rest of the way, we found a way to win on a day when our 3pt shooting was again suspect, our lone Senior and one of our Juniors weren't big contributors (I'll give Josh credit for rebounds), but Crutcher found himself in the second half, JD turned up the heat on Carry, and Toppin had two great halves to lead with 26.

Toppin and Crutcher combined for 52 of our 68 points. Good to see Coach Grant smiling in post game interview. I'm sure there are many aspects of the game he's not happy with but I think he had some things to like and of course, getting the W is the biggest key. I never thought I'd see a game where Josh sat out the last 17 minutes of a game not due to foul trouble and we still win. Both of these teams are going to be really good next year.
