I didn't watch every second and every play, (partly because of the super frustrating replay after every play - I missed half the game just watching the excessive replays. I bet the replay sponsor, I forget the name, paid them for every time they showed a replay, so they showed like 100 replays...), but from what I did see, I'm pretty happy with this year's team.
Swoboda is a stud, DD looks like he has matured into a senior leader, Kostas is a diamond in the rough, and the frosh look pretty good, considering. Cunningham is an all star, and Xerious is a serious ace in the hole, a role I think he likes. And even Crosby, with all his flaws, only had one turnover. Glad to see coach AG gave everybody some minutes. He has a lot of options.
All in all, I'm feeling better about this year now than I was a few months ago.
Let's go Flyers! Bring on Ball State.
(And where's the predict the score thread? - I would have predicted Flyers 79 Dominion Onions 61...)
