We had a couple of guys cramping over the course of the two games because of the extra load of minutes we had to play guys, but we got a chance to see some different combinations on the floor. Dayton Daily news article above has two other interviews, one by Trey Landers and the other by Dwayne Cohill. I really liked what Cohill had to say about playing defense. He said he will do whatever the team needs! He was a scorer in high school and he says he can still do that if he feels he can beat his man off the dribble but he added if a teammate is more open he will feed the ball off! This kid has a maturity beyond his years and I will be excited to see him develop and get better and better over his career at Dayton. He made a turn around shot from the elbow in the Coppin State game that was amazing because I haven't seen a UD freshman make that kind of move in a great while!
