Find me one person offended by colonial. Just one.
Did anyone ever find someone offended by the use of Orangemen when Syracuse used it?

Actually I think some Catholics were offended by the use of the term Orangemen. Orangemen were members of the Orange order, which is dedicated to defending Protestant civil and religious liberties (particularly in Northern Ireland). Founded in honor of William of Orange, who ousted Catholic James II in the Glorious Revolution (which included a daring crossing of the English channel, aided by divine intervention through the "Protestant wind"). The Glorious Revolution ended any chance at Catholicism being re-adopted as the state religion in England. Hence, the Orangemen are considered anti-Catholic.
