Alaina is 5-10. OK if a 5-10 kid makes contact about the same height as a 6-4 player, are they effectively a 6-4 player? Or is the 5-10 still having to overcome certain things?

My intuition tells me shorter players need more time on their sets b/c if they jump the same height as taller players, it takes them a fraction more time to reach the top of their arc. Maybe they have fast twitch muscles however and better reflexes. So they get off the ground a tad earlier. So is it a wash, or is being legitimately 6-4 still better than 5-10 even if they touch the same height at the same time?

Where does it become irrelevant and where does the advantage always favor the taller player?
