I'm not sure it has anything to do with forgiveness. I don't see why anyone would not forgive the kid. However, I think in the minds of many forgiveness and wanting him on the team are not necessarily aligned. Further, I think your breaking with the opinion of many has a great deal to do with Miller's perceived upside potential.

Don't assume that. I suspect that there are more UD Fans that want him back as soon as he has received his "punishment" for his embarrassing and illegal activities.
IMO he is a significant asset to the team. I don't want to go into my opinion because it could create further bashing.
Give the guy a break! Let's not pile on, he is paying handsomely for his stupid actions both now and in the near future.
