Kyle got cut which isn't that surprising. You have to be a scorer to succeed at the next level. KD just isn't that guy. Hopefully UD alums who own businesses reach out to him and get him set up with a great job situation where he is set for life. He deserves it.
I'm still sad that CW has chosen to play in the G/D-League instead of overseas where he could make more money. Hopefully his donut shop on Brown St. is successful.

I think someone thumped on this theme before. Why would we be sad when a player chooses not to chase more money, and little else? If CW has a good agent he may have connections in the NBA that bear fruit. "Overseas" is not the same pot of gold for everyone. Language barriers and living conditions vary a lot. Some clubs offer little support for development. Then there are teams that have 12 out of 13 players who are nationals, and CW could be the outlier. Coaches have their biases. So many other factors that would make the size of the paycheck way down on the bucket list.
