Is that why they are not one of the 6 projected SEC teams in Lunardi's early bracketology?
Or maybe you are expecting some massive improvement from a team that was 321st in scoring defense, allowing nearly 80 points per game?
They will finish about 7th in the SEC, but could see them finishing as low as 10th. The top of the SEC is improved. Ohio State had a bunch of top-100 players two years ago when they played in the NIT. I don't see Pearl pulling it together.
Not saying they won't beat us, they are one of the 4 best teams in the Charleston field. But they are not a top level SEC team.
