Whoa. Lotta hate here. Be happy for the kid, his dream came true. He never really bought into being a Flyer but he wore the uniform and it’s not bad PR for us. Let it go.....and Trent Meachum too.

Wait, don't we expect Thanasis to grow 4-5 inches and add 50 pounds of muscle because his brother did?

Yes. But you want to honestly tell us how you would have voted? There was a lot riding on that poll. not.

Hahaha, figured I'd throw a little humor into the thread
I actually thought he would have gone un-drafted, but signed to a FA deal right after the draft, but I'm really happy for him that he did.

Isn't customary for someone to bet a beer(s) on whether he will ever play in an NBA game?

My guess is that you are correct. But it would not have been the Mavs, which is why they took him at 60.

Dallas Mavericks announced their Vegas summer league roster and Dayton’s Kostas is listed. Their first practice will be in Dallas on Monday. Their first game will be July 6 at 8:30pm and is nationally televised on ESPN. I am not sure about the time zone shift, so check your local listings. The Mavericks play the Phoenix Suns who have Deandre Ayton at center. Deandre Ayton was the first pick in the NBA draft this year.
