I think people are down on him because everybody was expecting a knock down outside shooter and he has not shown that.
Also he is just sooooo sloooooow.

Horrible shot by Crosby.
But it seems all our players do that. Too many guarded 3 point attempts. Too lazy to run the offense

Kostas- Move with the pass! He waits every time until the catch is made, so too late to defend the wide open shot.

Had Trey not gotten mugged on that dunk attempt- it would have been ESPN’s top play of the day. Even the Richmond announcers gushed

Darrell’s drives are much better this year, but that time he tried too hard for the foul and not hard enough for the hoop.

Great pass out the double team by Kostas. Led to a layup for Josh.

A win. The good was the play by Trey. The bad was Cunningham getting neutralized by fouls. He still had 20 but we need him to be on the floor and not on the bench.

If they can guarantee they wouldn’t have fouled him in that situation, fine - go ahead and b!tch. Otherwise, with a slim lead in a hard-fought game - get the points.

Crosby had some issues, but he had a good night statistically — 9 points on 3 of 5 shooting (2 of 3 from three-point line), made his only free throw, 2 assists and no turnovers, and three rebounds. His game always LOOKS shaky, but Crosby contributed tonight on a day when Crutcher looked every bit the freshman he is.

So Cunningham's dunk with 5 seconds left gives us an 8 point lead. Then the play-by-play shows a foul against my favorite Flyer with 3 seconds left. I did not see the end, but tell me that is a misprint. Or was that a WTF Flyer moment?

Richmond with 10 steals, about half of them the other way for layups. Most were unforced Flyer errors. We take care of the ball, we win by 15 and it never gets under double digits. Anthony Grant has power, but he cant go full Matrix and stop someone from making a terrible pass in the middle of making a terrible pass.
Crutcher was solid in first half, had a relapse to start second half. Which is what you expect from freshmen. Incomplete, up and down.

Yeah, while Crosby ain’t perfect, he did a decent job of settling things down and getting the ball into the lane (one way or another). When momentum was going Richmond’s way near the end of the first half, he came in and helped feed The Beast, and the lead went back to double digits. Then, at the start of the 2nd half, Crutcher was Captain Brain Fart, and AG put Crosby back in, and things settled back down again. Tonight, Crosby generally played like the upperclassman that he is.

I like Crutcher's upside, but a bit taken back that he still does not respect the quickness of D1 guards, no matter how bad their record might be. Someone on here pointed out that all of our opponents, the good and the bad, have managed to snag a few quick guards for their roster. They aren't all well-rounded ball players, but the one thing they have in common is quickness. They are everywhere Jalen. Just sayin'.
